Meet our Founder
Dana Kane-Glickman, LCSW - Founder and Director
Dana is a caring, dedicated, and seasoned professional who has 35+ years experience providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and families. She brings a unique and relevant skill-set, as she has extensive experience working with children and adolescents with special needs including but not limited to: ADHD, auditory processing issues, and learning disabilities. She has also been running small social skills groups that provide an environment where your child/adolescent can develop and enhance his or her social skills in a recreational format. She has successfully worked with different diagnoses that impact ones social development.
She is also a parent educator and consultant, who collaborates with parents, teachers, school social workers/psychologists, psychiatrists, pediatricians, neurologists, and other relevant professionals to provide the highest quality of treatment. She received her Bachelors and Masters in Social Work from Adelphi University.
Her passion for helping kids find true friendships has derived from her youngest child having ADHD and several learning disabilities. She has created Kidz Helping Kidz to provide a place where all kids feel accepted, special, important, significant, and to make everlasting friendships.
