Meet our Founder

Dana Kane-Glickman, LCSW - Founder and Director

​

Dana is a caring, dedicated, and seasoned professional who has 40+ years of experience providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and families. She brings a unique and relevant skill set, as she has extensive experience working with children and adolescents with special needs including but not limited to: ADHD, auditory processing issues, and learning disabilities. She has also been running small social skills groups that provide an environment where your child/adolescent can develop and enhance his or her social skills in a recreational format. She has successfully worked with different diagnoses that impact ones social development.

She is also a parent educator and consultant, who collaborates with parents, teachers, school social workers/psychologists, psychiatrists, pediatricians, neurologists, and other relevant professionals to provide the highest quality of treatment. She received her Bachelors and Masters in Social Work from Adelphi University.

​

Her passion for helping kids find true friendships has derived from her youngest child having ADHD and several learning disabilities. She has created Kidz Helping Kidz to provide a place where all kids feel accepted, special, important, significant, and to make everlasting friendships.
